چکیده

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation on balance and gait required for functional activities in patients with Parkinson's disease. 16 were randomly assigned an experimental group receiving Proprioceptive (PNF) a control electrical stimulation. BBS, POMA, TUG used before after intervention evaluate walking ability patients. In results, all groups showed significant increase intra-group evaluation using TUG, analysis difference treatment between groups, there POMA compared group. conclusion, method PNF has positive activity

Synergistic Effects of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation and Manual Lymphatic Drainage in Patients with Mastectomy-Related Lymphedema

Purpose: Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) are potential therapeutic strategies to reduce mastectomy-induced edema. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the combination of these therapies would induce synergistic effects to treat lymphedema-related complications and to analyze a possible physiological mechanism involved in the ob...

Contralateral effects of upper extremity proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation patterns.

Electromyography was used to determine the presence of electrical activity in the nonexercised latissimus dorsi, infraspinatus, and pectoralis major muscles while the contralateral limb underwent the proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation pattern of flexion, abduction, external rotation with elbow straight and extension, adduction, internal rotation with elbow straight. Activity was present ...
